Far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, hides the Phantom in a shadowy existence. Shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, the love he holds for his beautiful protégée Christine Daaé is so strong that even her heart cannot resist.

Corps de Ballet

For the auditions you should wear:

leotards and tights, ballet flats or jazz shoes (not boots) and please bring pointe shoes if you have them.

You will be asked to perform a variety of steps and leaps, in groups of four dancers.  The audition will take approximately 15 minutes.  Although you can look at versions of the ballet dances in other productions, you will not be expected to perform any of the routines for your audition.

To book your audition time please ring the Production Manager (Barbara Trimmer) on 021 393 322.  If you cannot attend on 4 November she may be able to arrange an alternative date for you.

Please complete the audition form and bring it with you to the audition.

The Corps de Ballet are not expected to sing.  However if you can sing, and wish to do so, that will be welcomed.

If you are successful you will be expected to attend all performances and rehearsals in Forum North, and the majority of the earlier rehearsals.
